Life Goes On

A few weeks ago I was talking to mom and was about to reference my she, but I got as far as twenty and wasn't sure about the next number, when I suddenly realized I was almost thirty two. Where had the time gone? Tomorrow will be seven years since my first day in Tulsa. Wow. I could say it was all for nothing since we're not with the kids, but I've met so many people and had many good experiences, so I choose to believe this hadn't been a mistake and God has a plan to use this. Life has gone on. I miss friends and family, but I'm where I'm supposed to be, at least for now.

One week from today I will be thirty two and, hopefully, with a conglomeration of friends from my life, including my sister. So, while my life isn't perfect, it's a work in progress and goes on. Thank you to all who have touched my life, even the ones that seem to have caused pain and suffering. Surviving and growth happens during and after the trials.

I am so glad God has not given up on me AND He has blessed me with an amazing husband, good friend, and an awesome church family.

So glad that even when the darkness is overwhelming, life goes on and leads to peace and rest.
